In this role, you'll work closely with local communities, government agencies, and international partners to implement conservation projects, enforce environmental regulations, and promote eco-tourism. - Develop and implement coastal conservation strategies in collaboration with local communities and stakeholders.
- Monitor and enforce environmental regulations to ensure compliance with national and international standards.
- Conduct regular assessments and reports on the health of coastal ecosystems and marine biodiversity.
- Facilitate community engagement programs to promote environmental awareness and sustainable practices.
- Coordinate with government agencies and international partners to secure funding and resources for conservation projects.
- Organize and lead field surveys, data collection, and environmental impact assessments.
- Promote and develop eco-tourism initiatives to support local economies while preserving natural habitats.
- Provide training and guidance to local conservation teams and volunteers.
๐ Kualifikasi & Syarat
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Marine Biology, Ecology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in coastal conservation, environmental management, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian environmental laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Experience with GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS) and data analysis tools.
- Valid driver's license and ability to work in diverse coastal environments.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with local communities and stakeholders.
- Certification in coastal conservation or a related field is a plus.
